Student Leadership Team Application - Fall 2024/Spring 2025 - Applications

Our Student Leadership Team is foundational to our ministry. Being a part of this team requires students to enter a covenant with God and each other to support the Wesley Foundation with their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Members of this team are the servant leaders of our community. ETSU Wesley has a long history of students serving in leadership. The discipleship that takes place through our Student Leadership Team has produced countless alumni who now serve in leadership roles throughout the church.

This commitment is something to take seriously and requires giving your best to God. It is not just attending or participating when you feel like it. Being a part of this team equips and develops servant leaders to serve the church and the world in the name of Jesus Christ. The commitment is for one academic year. To be a part of the Student Leadership Team again, students must reapply each year. You can apply to serve on the leadership team anytime throughout the school year.

By applying to serve on this team you are committing to the following…

  • The ETSU Wesley Foundation Student Leadership Covenant (see covenant below).

  • Attending a Soul Group on Tuesdays at 6:00PM (there is flexibility when necessary).

  • Attending a monthly leadership team meeting on Sundays at 7PM. The dates are September 22nd, October 20th, November 17th, February 16th, and March 30th (there is flexibility when necessary).

  • Attending the two beginning of the semester Leadership Retreats at Camp Bays Mountain on August 24th - August 25th and January 18th - January 19th.

  • Attending the 2023 Labor Day Beach Retreat from August 30th - September 2nd.

  • Fulfilling a Tuesday night ministry role. (See details below).

  • Serving on a ministry team (See details below).

To be a part of the Wesley Foundation Leadership Team is serving Christ and the church in a very important way. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. This commitment will serve each team member well in the future and will bear fruit for years to come.
