The ETSU Wesley Prayer Labyrinth is located on the patio directly in front of our building. It was dedicated on Palm Sunday April 10th, 2022 in honor of Keitha Cross. Keitha served the Wesley Foundation for 35 years from 1979 to 2014.
Though the earliest examples of labyrinths date back nearly 5,000 years, labyrinths emerged in Christian prayer during the Middle Ages as a way for people to participate in a pilgrimage. In a labyrinth, there is a clear path in and out and unlike in a maze this path is the same. We invite students and campus visitors to use our community labyrinth for meditation and prayer.
